The FSA SMR System (Smart Cable Routing) is built around a versatile stem and headset combination that supports both integrated and semi-integrated cable routing. Leveraging FSA’s expertise in headset and cockpit components, the SMR system offers a plug-and-play solution for bike brands seeking to route cables, wires, and hoses internally from the cockpit into the frame. It is compatible with electronic and mechanical shifting as well as hydraulic and mechanical braking, making it the most versatile and adaptable cable routing solution on the market.

The SMR stem supports full internal wiring from the handlebar through the stem and headset into the frame, or a semi-integrated path where cables, wires, and hoses are routed underneath the stem and secured by the SMR cover. This cover not only provides a sleek, aerodynamic shield but also allows for length adjustment and routing without stem removal, accommodating a variety of handlebar options.
